Strategy
Firetree Chocolate’s range of rich volcanic bars, thins and hot chocolate is made from single-estate cocoa grown in the nutrient-rich volcanic soil of remote islands across the South Pacific and Indian Ocean by dedicated growers on small farm-holdings.
Through their sustainable farming and all-natural, bean-to-bar production practices, Firetree delivers distinctly complex taste notes and a unique flavour profile to bring a new and more sophisticated offering to the UK chocolate market, for everyone. Not chocolate masked by flavourings.
Following a national listing into Tesco stores, we needed to demonstrate to UK chocolate indulgers that Green & Blacks and Lindt are not as good as it gets.
Activation
Utilising digital, social and in-store comms, create a call for the curious, an alert for the senses of our indulger consumers, that truly satisfies their search for the best chocolate.

Results
Early sales in Tesco are building and anecdotal feedback amongst shoppers on social media suggests the brand is well received. As well as supporting the Tesco launch, the campaign had a positive impact on Firetree’s online sales with orders growing an impressive 138% on last year.
